The JS Tower team wanted their building signage to have a gold finish during the day and a bright yellow glow at night. It was a unique requirement that needed the right materials and careful planning.
The Challenge
Standard gold acrylic can block LED light, making the sign look dull at night. The client wanted the sign to look premium in the daytime while staying bright and attractive after dark.
Our Solution
Capital Arts recommended using 3M Gold Translucent Film on a white acrylic face.
During the day, the sign has a rich gold appearance. At night, the LED lighting shines through the film, creating a bright yellow glow while keeping the elegant look.
